What is GCCPROs?
An independent platform for the people who build, run and join Global Capability Centres. GCCPROs verifies 4,799 GCCs across 44 countries, runs a peer council of serving GCC leaders, publishes original research, advises companies setting up or scaling a centre, and convenes the GCC Leadership Summit. It is a Chartered Times LLP initiative, based in Pune and founded in 2025.
Where do the GCC numbers on this site come from?
From the GCCPROs database. Every centre is checked individually rather than scraped in bulk, and each record carries a confidence level. Every figure published on this site is stamped from that database when the site is built, so the numbers in the text, the page titles and the structured data cannot drift apart. The current figures were verified on 18 October 2026.
Can I cite GCCPROs figures in my own work?
Yes. The counts, city breakdowns and sector splits published here are free to read and free to quote, with attribution to GCCPROs and a link. Record-level access to the database, with named centres and leadership, is licensed separately.
Who runs GCCPROs?
Shammi Prabhakar Singh founded it. He is a chartered accountant who has built Global Capability Centres across India and the Philippines, and signed the GCCPROs Memorandum of Understanding with the Uttar Pradesh State Transformation Commission, which is on the Commission’s public record. The advisory work is delivered by practitioners who have run centres themselves rather than by career consultants.
What does GCC consulting from GCCPROs cover?
Location and city choice, the entity and setup model, the operating and cost model, talent strategy, and the first hundred days of a new centre. Of the 2,446 centres in the database with a recorded setup model, 99% were built as captives rather than through a build-operate-transfer contract, which is the most useful single fact to have before choosing how to enter. When is the next GCC Leadership Summit?
Hyderabad on 26 November 2026, then Dubai on 4 and 5 February 2027. Both are practitioner rooms: the people who actually run GCCs, rather than a vendor exhibition. Dates, speakers and the agenda are on each event page.
